Singer for a Swedish hard rock band "Lejonen" which means "The Lions."
Distinguishing marks:
A long scar up his right leg after falling from a tree when he was ten. He has a tattoo of a big male lion on his back with the words "Always Run Free" written underneath. Also another of a male lion on his left bicep.
Abilities/talents:
Gunnar is a skilled vocalist. He's also a decent waiter, having worked as one in his late teens. He is also an amateur boxer and weight lifter, having competed in competitions in and around Sweden.
Personality:
Boisterous, loud, somewhat stubborn and obnoxious, Gunnar often doesn't know when to back off until told. He's keen to learn new skills and doesn't like feeling weak about things he doesn't understand. He can be vulnerable and lashes out when he feels threatened or scared, yet he's a loyal, hard-working man who is caring underneath the muscle-headedness.
Background:
Born in Gävle, Sweden, Gunnar has an older brother called Joakim and was raised by his mother and father. He has always been the boisterous child, getting into trouble at school, fighting and other such behaviour. He was the strongest boy in his class and liked to work out in the gym, often competing in strong man competitions in his home town. Gunnar was almost expelled when he was 15 for smashing up a classroom in a fit of rage. Gunnar left school at 16 and started waiting at tables for some money, hoping to go to music college because his teachers knew he had a good voice. Between that and weight lifting, Gunnar began to balance his life a little more.
The boy needed discipline so his parents threatened the army unless Gunnar grew up and took responsibility for his actions. Understanding this, Gunnar waited tables until he had enough money and got into music college when he was 17. Things went well with his vocalist coach teaching the Swede how to sing. He eventually graduated at 18, starting his own band "The Lions." Lejonen.
